  • Luciana is the President of WPO, and the General Manager of ABRE Brazilian Packaging Association. Luciana has been involved with the packaging industry for over 26 years, and since 2002 as the executive director and general manager of the Brazilian Packaging Association, the national body in Brazil that gathers and supports companies from the packaging chain and FMCGs for greater innovation and advancement.  In this role, Luciana has been able to lead strategic activities on behalf of the organization, company members and market affairs, pushing ABRE’s strategic plan, activities, and projects to leverage the positive impact of packaging in society.
 
  • Soha Atallah is an international packaging expert, with extensive experience in industrial development, packaging, marketing, branding and food safety throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.
  • Over the past 20 years, she has provided packaging and labeling design services to more than 200 industrial companies around the w orld.
  • Ms. Atallah has partnered for more than a decade with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) as an international expert on packaging and marketing in numerous countries, including Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Tunisia. Her global expertise led to Ms. Atallah’s appointment in 2017 as Vice President of the WPO (World Packaging Organization), for which her mandate includes the group’s Exhibitions, Conferences, and WorldStar international packaging competition. 
  • He is the Founder/President of Graphics Packaging Communications LLC. Owners of Packaging Academy, Publisher of Nigeria Packaging Journal and Producer of Packaging News on WebTV.
  • Omah is President of the African Packaging Organization (APO). He co-founded APO in 2012 at Santon, Johannesburg. APO is a packaging association with members in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, and Tanzania.
  • He is a faculty member and Trainer at Nigeria Packaging Academy. The academy in collaboration with the Institute of Packaging South Africa offers the One Diploma in Packaging Technology in Nigeria.
 

  • Mostafa is a highly accomplished QHSE professional with a strong background in food safety & Hotel management and extensive experience in promoting safety culture and OSHA compliance. With a focus on integrating quality, health, safety, and environmental practices, Mostafa has successfully implemented food safety programs and policies within many international and locals’ organizations. His expertise in ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, ensures adherence to international regulations. As a certified Business Continuity Professional (BCI) and Six Sigma Green Belt, Mostafa brings a commitment to excellence, process improvement, and risk management.
 

  • Mostapha Khalil is a seasoned expert in the food and beverage industry, with a specialized focus on bridging international companies with the burgeoning African markets. With over a decade of experience in event management, Mostapha has played a crucial role at Informa Markets in facilitating market entry and expansion for global businesses into Africa. Simultaneously, he is deeply committed to elevating African companies, guiding them to enhance their product competitiveness and preparing them for successful export ventures. Through strategic event planning and industry insight, Mostapha continues to be a driving force in fostering international trade and industry growth in Africa.
  • Ali Badarneh is a Palestinian Citizen and a graduate of Birmingham University, UK. He started his career in 1997 as a food safety and quality consultant for a regional consulting firm in the Middle East, then moved in 2001 to work as freelance international expert for international companies and organizations (UNIDO, LRQA, CU, ISO, ACDI-VOCA, USAID). Currently Ali is leading a team of professionals for the design and management in areas related to Value Chain Development, Food Safety, Fisheries, Agro-parks, Biodiversity and Market systems development. Received the Role Model Award, and 4 Merit awards during his time at UNIDO.
 

  • Dr. Mohamed is the Co-Managing partner of Suez Canal Marine Logistics, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and partner in the New Suez Canal Dry Ports and Logistics Services Company, which owns the Qantara East Dry Port, in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Transport. Former Marketing & Customer service Director of K LINE for 18 years, and the logistics & supply chain head & Partner in SME Consulting. He is a master holder in International Transport and Logistics from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, DBA in International Transport and Logistics - Ain shams university. 
  • Alaa Basyouni, the current Marketing & Communications Manager at Geocycle, Egypt, leverages extensive marketing experience to lead impactful sustainability initiatives. Commencing her career in the healthcare tech sector, fronting successful product launches across diverse markets in the region. This phase fortified her standing as a versatile and accomplished marketing professional. Driven by a passion for marketing, Alaa transitioned into fashion retail, where she crafted marketing strategies for distinguished local and international brands like Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, showcasing her adept navigation of the fashion industry's intricate landscape.
 

  • Dr. Haggar’s 30 years’ experience in energy and sustainable development Consulting and University teaching. Dr Haggar has been a visiting professor at Washington State University and at University of Idaho, U.S.A. He is presently the professor of Energy and Sustainable Development - Mechanical Engineering Department at the American University in Cairo. In 2015, Dr. El-Haggar demonstrated the importance of Net Zero Concept in sustainable development in his book “Sustainability and Innovation: The Next Global Industrial Revolution, published by AUC Press in 2015” and considered this concept as the next global industrial revolution.

  • As Sustainability Consultant & LEED® Accredited Professional, Sherine is the CEO of EcoStrategies for Sustainable Development, leading the drive towards sustainability in the built environment by supporting several LEED, Tarsheed and Edge projects in Egypt. Sherine is Co-Founder, Board Member and Treasurer of the Egypt Green Building Council, emerging member of the World Green Building Council, a nonprofit NGO with the objective of promoting the culture of Green Building in Egypt, and adjunct faculty at the American University in Cairo, teaching courses attended by corporate clients and graduate university students on the areas of environmental sustainability and LEED concepts.

As the Co-Founder of Penetrade, a trailblazing venture in hydroponic agriculture for over two years, Dr. Mohamed stands with sustainable practices across diverse industries.

  • Adham Elmahdy is a passionate advocate for sustainability and environmental stewardship. With over 19 years of experience in the cement, concrete, and waste management industries, Elmahdy has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting circular economy principles. As Country Sustainability Director and Geocycle General Manager at Lafarge Egypt, he oversees the development and implementation of sustainable practices across the company's operations. Elmahdy holds a BSc of Engineering from Cairo University, followed by post-studies in Climate Change from the University of Exeter and Sustainable Development from the University of Aberdeen, where he developed a strong foundation in environmental science and sustainability.
 

  • Khaled Raafat is the Chief Technology Officer of TileGreen, one of the top 10 sustainability startups in the MENA region, that offers innovative technologies to transform unrecyclable waste streams into sustainable building materials. With his wide knowledge in technology development and waste management for the industrial sector, he will take us through the complex plastic wastes coming from the food and packaging sectors and the innovative solutions to address these challenges.

  • Throughout his dynamic career, he has made significant contributions to renowned organizations such as Maersk Line, Coca-Cola, British American Tobacco, The Children’s Cancer Hospital, Darelfouad Hospital, and Harvest Foods.
  • With a solid educational background, Omar El Borollosy holds certifications including Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), and Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD).
 

  • Nadim Elias is the President of the Egyptian Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industry, the Chairman of Sahara Printing Company, the President of the Egyptian Export Council for Printing, Packaging, Paper, Literary & Artistic Works, Member of the Export and Foreign Trade Committee of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Head of the Social Insurance Committee in the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Member of the Board of the Public Authority for Social Insurance, and Member of the Board of Directors of the Public Free Zone in Nasr City. He is an entrepreneurial leader, with 45+ global experience in the printing industry.
 

  • Dr. Yomna El Sheridy has over 20 years of experience in food processing, and has worked in the export and marketing of food products at a global level. She has contributed to the growth of major global brands including P&G, Mead Johnson, and Gerber Baby Food. She is the president of Businesswomen of Egypt 21, board member of AIVOC. Dr. Yomna is responsible for the establishment of the Women for Success Annual International Conference, the founder of the Arab Businesswomen’s Council in the Arab League and the co-chairperson of “Career Women”, an establishment at the American Chamber of Commerce.
 

  • Eng. Sujud is a professional with extensive experience in both local and international packaging manufacturing and solutions companies. With over 19 years of dedicated service in the industry, she has established herself as a leading figure in packaging consultation and training.
  • She has been instrumental in providing packaging advice for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), offering valuable insights into packaging design, solution implementation, and innovative structural design & prototyping. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in advising packaging material testing labs and addressing food safety concerns.

  • Dr. Enas Safwat, the General Manager of MV Switchgears Protection Department in North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company (NCEDC), from 2016 up till now. She is also the manager of public administration for development studies in NCEDC 2012 2017. She used to teach at EL Minya University 2010 – 2011. She was an electrical engineer at NCEDC 1999- 2013. She is also a member of the (IEC)International Electrotechnical commission. She is a member of (CIRED) conference International Research on Electricity Distribution.
 

  • Moataz is an Area Projects Manager at IETOS, Integrated Environmental Technology and Oil Services Co., the leading Egyptian company covering all sectors of drinking water treatment, sewage, industrial, and seawater & brackish water desalination. Moataz acquired his Bachelor of Engineering from faculty of Engineering – Helwan University with a Mechanical Power Engineering major and have more than 10 years of experience in Electromechanical field and Water and Wastewater treatment. Executed More than 40 project with different technology, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
