Ahmed Omah

Is the Executive Director of Egyptian Accreditation Council EGAC since July 2013. He led EGAC to maintain its recognition from ILAC and IAF in 2013. He also played a pivotal role in extending EGAC scope of recognition to include medical laboratories and inspection bodies in 2014. Eng. El Desouki pushed to enhance the corporation capabilities of EGAC through multiple twinning projects with EU. He directed EGAC to extend its scope of accreditation vertically through the establishment of 3 new accreditation departments. He succeeded in achieving EGAC recognition from ARAC and AFRAC through signing MRA with AFRAC and ARAC. Eng. Hany graduated as power mechanical engineer from Helwan University, TQM Diploma from American University. He is a member in American Society of Quality ASQ, the International Register of Certificated Auditors IRCA, ILAC AMC, IAF MLA committee, Technical Committee Affairs chair and BOD member of IHAF, TC committee chair of ARAC, ARAC/AFRAC Peer Evaluator, AFRAC Vice chair and MRA Council Chair.
