Amid the challenge of hindered food supply in the world, mainly in Africa, food waste reduction has become a priority to ensure access to safe food for all. The roundtable discussion unites key decision makers across Africa and the MENA region to discuss measures and strategies to reduce food waste in partnership with UNIDO and WPO recognizing the role that the packaging industry plays in the matter. For the first time, the food industry will join the discussion, fortifying the efforts of the region to resolve the challenges currently prevailing, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders from across the value chain are uniting to consolidate their efforts for more coherent and groundbreaking results. The roundtable will be held in Cairo on 2 June 2025 during the ProPak MENA Show.
